Stanley ate lunch over the highway in Oklahoma on our way
to Texas.
Stanley ate dinner with us in Meers Oklahoma. A very
small community.
Stanley rode a horse on the ranch that we stayed at in
Kerrville, Texas. It is mostly country living.
Stanley played on a lot of rocks. In Texas, the yards
have mostly rocks instead of grass.
Stanley was able to feed the deer in the yard! There are
many animals that live on this ranch, which makes it very different than most
city communities. Some animals that live on this ranch are horses, cows, pigs,
turkeys and more.
Stanley found a neighbor with his name! Since this community is so small, many people
have their names by their mailboxes.
Texas may be a very large state in the United States, but
Kerville is pretty small. One of the main things people do is go hiking like us
in this picture.
Since Kerrville, Texas is a 14 hour drive from our house,
we stopped at a water park on the way home with Stanley.
The most interesting thing about this community to
Stanley was how many rocks there were. People in Kerrville, Texas don't
normally have basements because it is not easy or cheap to dig into rock!
