Understanding is a fountain of life for those who have it. Proverbs 16:22
Here are a few of the things that our first graders understand about God.
He's great.
Jesus
God's love is really powerful.
If you believe in God you will have eternal life.
You read the Bible to understand God.
He's the Lord.
Trust that God has all of the answers for your life
He is powerful and the one true God
He loves us
He is the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit
He loves us no matter what and that he will always take care of our needs
He is the king
He rose from the dead to wash away our sins
He gives us eternal life
Those are all pretty cool things to understand about God.
