Life Cycle of a Sunflower

The seed for a sunflower grows roots. Then the roots grow a small stem. The stem grows bigger. The stem grows a flower. The flower grows seeds inside it.

Pumpkin Life Cycle

We made a pumpkin video. We drew the pictures. We had five people. It was fun.

Our First Field Trip

We were at the greenhouse. We had a great time. It was our first field trip. We planted flowers. We found seeds. We saw 8000 poinsettias. We saw roots. We saw one bee. It was hot in the greenhouse. Our flowers were really floppy because we just planted them. They need water so the roots can hold on the soil.

We made plant sculptures. We made them in the classroom. They are really fragile. We were learning about plant parts. It represented the roots, stem, flowers and leaves.
